Alice Lewthwaite, great granddaughter of Harry Edmonds is re-creating his final world tour that he did in 1966 aged 83. She is visiting 18 countries and doing 25 stops. At each stop she is aiming to connect with alumni from the International Houses to ‘pass the light on’ of tolerance, understanding and international friendship. The events are taking many forms, some are kindly hosted by alumni and others are pay as you go where guests pay for themselves.

Events details below for remaining events. The majority of events are open to alumni from any of the Houses that are part of the International Houses World Wide group but some events do have limited numbers.

Athens Event

Event 1. Visit to Maison International
We have the opportunity to visit Maison International in the Cite Universitaire, which was funded by Mr Rockefeller and opened in 1933.  Location: Maison International, 17 Boulevard Jourdan, 75014 ParisWhen: Wednesday, February 20th –  tour starts at 2.30pm We will be met by a guide from the Cite and we will get to visit Maison International and two other houses as part of the tour.  The cost of the tour is 12 Euros per person payable in cash on the day.  
Event 2. Evening Event
Time: 7pm
